Tostones y Burros

I’m so happy Blogger/blog spot is still a thing, I’ve been wanting a place to share a bit of this little adventure we’re on as a family of 4. Naming is hard. I picked the two things the girls go craziest about when we are here in the DR. Tostones + Burros.  We are taking a family sabbatical (of sorts) - to disconnect from daily life as we knew it and return/restart/refresh/begin again in a place that is in our blood (well, 3/4 of us and the 4th gets in on cute points) but is also foreign in many ways. Marcus and I have dreamed of being able to make experiences like this a reality for our family, knowing how important travel has been to each of us.
